Windy 993 targa....help required

Okey doke a bit of a strange one, I have learnt to live with the odd whistle and creak from the old girl, the pluses far outwiegh any of the minuses, but a new 'wind' has found its way into the car. Both internal door handles now blast a load of air at speed, I had the front end reprayed last year and am very happy with the results but this is slightly doing my head in, in the winter I had to drive with a small tartan blanket on my lap! I suspect that something has been dislodged whilst being painted but TBH I can't see anything obvouis...help required please!

doesn't sound like they replaced the inner door membranes

I've heard people talk about a piece of felt that goes around the door handle underneath the door card on the membrane. Can't see why this would be affected by the front of the car being painted though.
