My 12v boot connection has given up , fuse is apparently in the passenger footwell , where the hell is it ? i cant see it at all . Help

Carpet (although it looks like a mat) needs to come up in the passenger footwell. Will then see a plate secured with torx bolts IIRC

Yes, carpet will be stuck down like crazy, lift it with steady pressure and it will unstick. Yank it and it will rip, err, I'd guess cry

Then you'll get to a beautifully engineered panel with about 9 x T30 screws in it, fuses are conveniently fitted below that.

Did make me think that the TVR idea of just bunging stuff up the side of the battery was quite a weight saving and convenient feature !

My boot went a bit nuts a few months back too. Replacement microswitch about £150 fitted at AM dealer did the trick.

Worth noting that the fuses in the cabin box are the smaller sized blade ones. Location is as described above: under the torx secured panel in the passenger footwell, beneath the very well glued down carpet, where your feet would usually rest if outstretched.
