How wildly different are the chassis on a T car, firstly from each other but primarily from the Griff/Chim chassis?
The T cars seem to drive better out of the box, is this primarily due to a stiffer chassis?
And ultimately, this all leads to a casual wondering as to the feasibility of fitting a T car chassis to a Griff body.

I believe the T cars have a 3 inch longer chassis, so that could be some serious butchery! The chassis rails are lower and a little wider in the engine bay (which allows the down and back exhausts (as proven with LS converted t-cars).The T cars seem to drive better out of the box, is this primarily due to a stiffer chassis?

The differences in the main backbone are very very small, the main difference to add stiffness is the front and rear hoops, but in percentage terms these don't give a massive increase (compared to a very modern production sportscar).
Imho the main difference fron the Griff/Chim to the t-cars is in the front suspension setup.
