Vantage Battery Change - Dead Centre Console

Hi all,
Woke to a flat battery in my 2006 Vantage Tuesday after leaving the car for the weekend and was then advised by the RAC to get a new battery.
Sods law after the car sailing though its annual service and MOT only a week ago!
Took the car to a local auto electricians to get a replacement and car now functions fine - except the infotainment console -
so I’ve got no radio, CD or satnav. . . screen works showing temp/fan speeds etc but little else.
I've checked the relevant fuses and they are all ok.
Have been advised by AM that the radio etc can shut itself down with battery issues to advoid problems
but they had not had one that wouldn't restart itself after changing the battery.
They advised driving around for a few days to see if it returns to life by itself then if not to call in.
Wondered if anyone had suffered from this issue before and whether it will rectify itself - I have my doubts.
Any help appreciated.

Local dealer is an hours drive away but looks like i've little option.

I know this is an old topic, but I've got now the same problem with my DB9. After a flat battery the infotainment system stays completely dead, despite the battery being replaced with a fully charged one. How can it be resolved? I've updated the infotainment software with my AMDS system, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?

I'd have looked at the fuses myself. In a V8V I believe the "infotainment" (what a crap word) is covered by the cabin fusebox, fuses F65 (display plus a few bits) and F66 (control module - so I'd probably look at F65 first....especially as it's lower rated).
"Drive round for a bit and see if it corrects itself". Really? I'm surprised they didn't suggest "bang the side of the console with a hammer three times"
