as above really, have a service coming up and have a few bits/bobs to be sorted and noticed bubbling on the alloys esp around the valve caps.. wondering if anyone has experience of them being replaced under warranty or would it be a refurb job?

got my bmw alloys replaced before under similar conditions..

I tried this when the paint flaked off the GT2 wheels, I was told that the wheels would have been covered by the original 2yr Manufacturers warranty but not the extended warranty.

Mine were covered under the original 2yr warranty for the same fault.
I'd still chance it on the extended warranty though if car is not too old and there is no other damage to the wheels.

Just had my rear wheel refurbed for the lacquer breaking down and flaking. The refurb lasted 2 weeks before a crazy paved look appeared on the face of the wheel. Supplying dealer is now covering cost of full wheel refurb at a place of my choosing near me and covering petrol to deliver and pick up also.

So , in answer , yes , I`d be defo asking for them to sort it.
