That is the best quality I could find... and I had to touch it up! This is why the second edition has some additional wiring diagrams that I made by tracing the wiring!

If anybody has anything better... I would love to get hold of a copy as well!

for previous discussions, it would appear TVR modified the wiring so often, it is not likely that there are more than a handful of cars that are wired identically. The big change was when the revised the dash layout, and switched to servo operated heater control valves.

From what I've seen that certainly seems to be the case. The diagram in the bible is ok for alot of the wiring but not for the newer style dash controls.

I too tried to get a new diagram but to no avail. I'd guess if it's something specific you're after then post it on here and see if anybody has any knowledge.

Sorry to jump in, but this may help:-

Quinny - has the car got damp recently?? During my rebuild mine did and I had all sorts of crazy things go wrong electric wise, I could switch off and remove key and lights were still on the dash etc.

Looks like you will have to get in the footwell and have a play. Might be a good idea to remove all relays one at a time (disconect battery first) and have a good look/clean contacts etc, there are 4 other relays behind the dash. Sounds like big earthing prob or a line common to all/most of your problems areas not switching.....best of luck!

Does sound like an earthing problem. I would be very suspicious of the earth under the rad as this feeds the lamps, wipers and all sorts of things. When it went on mine, lights would glow, wipers would start intermittently and so on. Worth experimenting with a long jumper lead with one end on the battery -ve supply. Then use this to provide earths to the bits in turn. You can check for earth using a multimeter.

FWIIW, I am intending to re-draw the Wiring Diagram from Steve's book using AutoCAD. Might take me a while to get round to it, but once done I will make the file available via the forum.

This will allow you to get int printed at any size (most drawing office supplies places will do A0 plots of AutoCAD files for a very modest cost), in colour, and give the facility to isolate and print individual circuits if required, by switchin layers on and off.
