Nodding dog in the passenger seat.

Took my mate round the block in the Cerb tonight. He has a wonderful road round the back of his house and I gave it Johnny Large potatoes. With each gear change his head nodded forward before being pushed into the headrest again and I was killing myself laughing at him.
Just thought I'd share this with you and was wondering if anyone else has scared the sh*t out of anyone that didn't realise just how brutal Cerb's are.

I'll never forget the time I took a good friend out in the Cerb 1 evening about 4 months after we got it. He'd never been in a TVR before, so 10 miles of country A road later (at 10pm), and he got out at the pub shaking.....
He still talks about that drive to this day (and has yet to go in anything as fast on the road)

Remember taking my mum out for her first spin in the Cerb last year. She owned a Chim at the time, so wasn't expecting it to be a great deal different I suspect.
Now she does like to talk, my mum (don't they all!), but she went very, VERY quiet as we hit about 140 (on a private test track, natch)
Bless
Cheers
Sean
PS also tried it on the mother-in-law - got shouted at (a lot)

A couple of amusing moments spring to mind...
One friend (a copper as it happens - non-traffic variety) on exiting the Cerb after a joy ride said how he was amazed at the rate of acceleration to 140kph - I then pointed out the speedo is calibrated in miles per hour - nice!
Another pal complained of blurred vision after a short blast and couldn't comprehend how it was possible to see whilst driving the car on a regular basis!

Scared myself silly after collecting my first Cerbie last week. Not driven any TVR at speed until then and now can't leave it alone.
Wow....it's just awsome and I've got a smile from ear to ear. Going out to see an old pal tonight, who's a bike freak so lets see what he thinks!!
Yes well, after posting this last response I was looking forward to my outing to scare an old friend only to find the Bl**dy thing wouldn't start. I think I need to replace the battery and also invest in a trickle charger, I've heard you all talk about!
