Birstwith and internet speeds

For anyone living up that way, is the internet half decent?

I'd be a happy person if you could get Infinity, but I'm guessing I might be getting more 2-3meg download and 0.5meg upload?!

Just thinking of moving up that way and working from home a lot so good internet would be fairly handy.

Thinkbroadband doesn't have any tests for that area unfortunately. Predicted speeds seem to be along the lines of "it depends".

No,no,no, you obviously haven't been on one of their tours. They are a data transmission? site (or something like that), they DEFINITELY ARE NOT a listening in/spy site, they went to great pains to stress that!!

Hmm, yeah, ok, whatever, so how do listen in to peoples conversations? Do you read peoples emails? Do you search for keywords or does it flag them up automatically? What's the most interesting conversation you've listened in on?
