Target Shooting

I'd like to have a go at target shooting as a hobby. I don't know what's allowed/available in the UK in terms of guns so I don't know what exactly I want to do.

I've tried clay pigeon shooting, and while it was good fun I think I'd prefer target shooting.

I have no idea where to begin... But I'd like it to be something fairly simple and not too expensive to start with.

I'm in Scotland.

Buy a air gun and a stack of targets, pin to tree. Go

Or join a rifle club and shoot there .22

I have a few not very exciting UK shooting clips on a youtube playlist, this may give you an idea what you can own to shoot fullbore & smallbore.
1st thing would be to get in touch with your local club and get some hands on experience.
