K, I get that too.For what it's worth - this might help?
Today, I attended the funeral of an old family friend. He died last week, aged 91.
He was a 2nd World War Soldier, a HERO in my opinion, a member of the Hampshire Regiment. He fought in Africa too - arguably one of the most unpleasant, difficult theatres to be involved in, especially at what, 19 or 20 years old? He received shrapnel injuries to the face and arms, but after being discharged from hospital, went back to join his regiment and continue to help the campaign, until the end in 1945.
He fought for us all, and our freedom, without much thought to the possibility of the ultimate sacrifice he might well suffer.
After that, he led one of the most interesting, diverse and happy lives, with lots of fun, and did a 12 year stint at sea on merchant ships, so saw a lot of the world.
I never saw him miserable, he never complained, and he was helping others right up until his 90th Birthday - mainly by being 'chief tea maker' at his local veteran's social club.
Even when I visited him last week in hospital, clearly nearing the end, he was still cheerful, recounting stories from times past - and yes, even flirting outrageously with the nurses, with a cheeky grin.
I don't think I will live even a tenth of that Man's life, but his selfless dedication to his country means that me, you, and everyone else on Pistonheads can get out of bed, go out of our houses, and enjoy going to work, driving our cars, and doing whatever we want in complete unhindered freedom.
I often get 'Aaaaargghhh!' days too - but whatever causes me to feel that way, man, it could be a whole lot worse! Today the sun was shining in my part of the country as we saw this man off - I enjoyed the simplicity of the sun on my back, surrounded by beautiful countryside, speaking freely to some other lovely people, and drove my nice car back to my lovely home for a luxurious dinner in complete freedom.
We're all living in complete luxury really - there's not much that should cause us to be unhappy.

Thanks for that Ray, a very uplifting tale. And a huge tip of the hat to your recently deceased friend. For what it's worth - this might help?
