Nurburgring w/e 6/7/8 Aug

Some friends and I head to Spa and then the 'ring soon. We are in a convoy of 3 cars (Blue Griff, black 996TT, black Boxster) over a long weekend of 5,6,7,8 Aug. The main event is the AvD Old timer Grandprix, 30 years of classics racing on the new circuit and we'll be doing a few laps of the old one too !

didnt know the ring was open to the public on evenings during the week. thought it was just weekends.
where can I get details for opening times in the evening all the sites I looked at just listed weekends. May be able to get over there this year then after all
Work comitments mean I cant do the weekends
edited cos I just found a link from ben lovjoys site looks like 5:15pm till 7:30pm most weekday evenings.

Yep I've only ever been to midweek evenings.
It's much, much quieter than some of the weekend videos I have seen
with the added bonus that all the other drivers are mostly local, so at least they know which way they are going and don't hold you up. The CenterParcs angle sounds pretty neat. 'Dahling I'm just popping out for a takeaway', then return three hours later with hot Bratwurst and beer
and smoking brakes
