Best way of removing hairline scratches?

Even though she is garaged all the time,and when we park up i find the biggest space,i still seem to compile minor scratches around the paint work!!!!!!

Is there a compound that will blend in/remove them?

What other products bring up the best shine after?

When/if you find something that does the job,let me know.I must have at least a dozen or so products,claiming to "remove scratches",but none of them seem to work.Even if it appears to have taken the scratch out ,it re-appears when I polish over it.

The best scratch removal product by far that I've found is Xerapol.

I originally bought it to remove scratches from rear screens but it also removes blemishes on paintwork. The first time I used it on paintwork I couldn't believe how good it was as it removed a blemish in seconds that I'd put up with for years and thought the only way to correct was going to be a respray.

Treatment of scratches is dependant on the depth. If you can rub your fingernail over the blemish and it doesn't catch then it's really just a scuff and will buff out.

If, on the other hand, your nail catches then you have to take more dramatic action. Buffing will only ever make something like that less noticeable. To really sort it out will involve sanding your lovely paint

I can really recommend a DIY repair kit (originally marketed by MER but latterly by Farecla) that contains everything the novice needs to fix even severe stone chips. On my Chimaera I fixed many stone chips (down to the fibreglass in some cases) to the extent that they were completely invisible. I was chuffed in the end but there were a few ' what on earth have I done' moments along the way when it looked far worse than the original damage.

G3 rubbing compound followed by a good polish is the best method I've found

G3 is good and G10 is a little finer, ive used both and are good at removing marks but also easy to add new ones, i would use a damp clean cotton cloth and gently rub in over lapping circles, wiping away the exsess and see if the marks have gone, if so then apply your wax and buff to a shine.
