Still having problems engine will not fire. One thing i have noticed today is that with
the diagnostics connected up and i crank the engine over the two throttle
pot sensors jump from 15% to between 30-35% which would i think is not
normal so could i have faulty throttle sensors?

Thanks

I should add that if i push down the accelerator pedal the sensor outputs are smooth all the way up. This jump in readings is only when i crank the engine

What are your symptoms?

Is your pump priming?
How recent are your HT leads / spark plugs?
can you test them?

I haved fitted new pump, ht leads, plugs , spare coil, checked fuel line pressures and regulator. It's been a labour of frustration. Possiblity of air leak, removed pots from head and resealed. Then noticed the throttle pot readings wer increasing so the engine assumes the throttles are open and pumps in more fuel and adjusts the ignition timimg. Found a link to the same problem another guy was having. So armed with my multimeter i am to check if i have a voltage drop at the sensors and if so trace back to the ECU voltage regulator to identify the problem.
