HELP! Locked out!

My Wedge is in bits as I've been doing some major work. Up till now I've had the boot propped open and a rag over the catch to stop it locking. Unfortunately I moved the rag and the prop dropped out so the boot is locked!
As I have all of the dash wiring, and most other cables, hanging out I can't really connect the battery up to unlock the boot!

Is there a way of mechanically undoing the catch? Or a wire or two which I can isolate from the rest of the car to apply power just to the lock?
