Last winter I started seeing ridiculous "TOW" stickers with an arrow to the rear tow hook, and now they're hanging filthy pathetic fluffy toys and animals off said rear tow hooks. Why?

(and one local knob drives with his tow hook permanently screwed into the front bumper ... with a "TOW" sticker ... "modified" Pug 106)

Its something that came from the "drift" scene i think. Just one of those fashionable things to do that, really, just looks stupid.

There is some logic to it just not in these cases.

Seen a fair few of those smurfs that come with Maccy D's hanging from exhausts. WTF? after a week they are covered in soot.

Sad then, sad now. Just now they're stuck to the backs of Fiestas and Corsas.

Supposed to swing out when drifting. Pointless on a FWD car though!

Nice tow hooks are one thing and they can look really good on some cars, but the "Tow" stickers are pointless. If you happen to break down on a track, I'm sure the tow truck guys have seen enough tow hooks to know where they hook their line too. As for advertising the fact you have tow hooks, well, if they are track style hooks, everyone can see them, sticker or not.

There's a guy at work that has a womens high heel shoe hanging down from the rear. (I don't think the rest of her is under there!) smile

Clearly you didn't watch the BTCC at Brands Hatch a couple of weeks ago.

Those "TOW" stickers have always made me laugh. Just makes the car look like it breaks down all the time. hehe

I've seen plenty of the 'happy meal' smurf toys hanging from tow hooks here in the south east!

I had a little sea turtle hanging off the back of my MX5. It's off at the moment, gave him a bath and haven't been bothered to put it back on yet.

It's just a bit of fun for me personally. My car isn't drift scene or modded tho, just felt like doing it smile
