Hi, Just bought my first Noble and have found that I have two buckled wheels, one front and one back. Does anybody know where I can get a second hand 3R wheels or good replicas?

Fairly normal I'm afraid , the 3R wheel is prone t o buckling and cracking !!
The Gt03 wheel is stronger , there has been a group buy on new speedline wheels but I think you are to late to join ,on the upside hopefully there will be some 2nd hand sets fore sale . Tux

I just got told 3 of mine are buckled too. Luckily I got in on the Speedline deal thanks to Rob W.

Not sure if wheels can be straightened, I'll find out once the Speedlines arrive.

So many weak areas on these cars sadly.

I've got a really good m400 (same as 3R design, anthracite but could be refinished silver) rear wheel spare. Email me through the site for photos if interested.

Dom.

When I get my new ones (Speedline) I could sell you my old ones - they are in very good condition - newly refurbished.

First of all thanks to all of you for speedy responses and offers. I've been told I should really not use the two buckled wheels at all and so the Noble on blocks in the garage. And whilst that may be great for security I'm missing taking her out!

Hoyin, I'd like to take you up on your offer if your order for your new wheels is expected in the not too distant future. Do you have an expected delivery date? Is there anyway you could let me know how much you would be expecting for them + photo?

RO162, here's your chance! Unfortunately Hoyin's wheels are no longer available. Do you have a front and back 3R wheel that are straight, for sale?

Pretty sure I have a front and a back that are straight. Might take me a few days to dig them out of the shed.

From memory all I have left is the original lacquered ones which due to a bit of kerbing have now gone all milky, so you'd need a full restore done on them.

Give me a personal message if you want me to go and drag them out and what you'd be prepared to pay for them.

I dont have any straight ones, i switched over to the GTO3 alloys for the same reason.

I've already offered a straight rear?

Thanks anotherdom. Without wanting to sound an ingrate (which I probably do) I'd like to try and get a front and back from the same source if possible to save on transport. I'm trying to avoid getting one wheel from Southampton and another from Glasgow; examples but you get the idea. I hope that's ok. Not wanting to upset the good Noble folk on my second day of forum chat!

No dramas, and perfectly sensible. I just wanted to make sure it hadn't been missed!

Guess you found another solution as you don't seem to have messaged me?
