Why didn't this sell?
Discussion
Hi guys, saw this car on the bay a few days ago and thought it sounded like a good buy, but working away at the moment so just watched out of interest. Bidding ended yesterday with zero bids, and it's probable that the seller would still be keen to sell given the circumstances (wedding coming up). I'm back home end of next week and I have the Cerb itch
. Was wondering if anyone new the car or can think of any reason why it has had no bids, couple of things need fixing on it but on the face of it it looks like a really good buy....

I know nothing about that specific car but with such variability between cars in original build quality and during their owned life you would have to go and poke it to be sure you were getting a good buy.
It may look pretty but how do you know it doesn't need outriggers and central chassis tubes replacing. I'm not saying it does but you need to take care with "cheap" pretty TVRs.

So by that rationale, as a seller, is it better to overprice the car and accept what, to some, would be a derisery offer?
