Weather - Scotland

Well i've got 5 weeks before my Portsmouth to Edinburgh ride and i thought i'd better start training but i seemed to get 4 seasons in the space of 4 hours........

Story goes: i head out of Edinburgh sun shining with nothing more than a base layer and a jersey and shorts on....... 20 miles out of town and light rain comes in so on goes my overshoes and waterproof... head wind picks up as i head towards Peebles and dies down out of no where. I turn out of Innerleithen and head back to Edinburgh and go over the hills and as i do sleet turns to a soft snowy type weather. I drop back down and on comes the wind and rain then as i get into the city centre all kitted up sunshine with little wind so off goes the kit........ that was yesterdays ride

Lesson Learnt: Be prepared for all weather!
