Cheers fella. Its a rolling project...was abandoned on a friends driveway for seven years, so its been a long haul back. Next up is to get it through my works body shop and have her paint seen to...got another standard front bumper to replace the cut one, going to try and mount the standard front fogs back in place, just to try and hide the fmic pipe work a little more.
Cheers everyone
I also spent ages searching for someone who could put my idea into place with regards the jap style plate. Its tricky due to the amount of digits that need squeezing in (JDM have less), plus no one seemed to have the font available. In the end it was underground graphics owner Chris Dempsey that sorted it for me....first one he had done as well!

Get in touch with him and tell him you've seen the one on Stu's GTO

The moonroof is only a small part of the rarity....the colour is much rarer as it was only available on the "Special Versions". Mine was part of a limited run of 300 GTO's in 1992, that came in one of two colours (Corse Gray or Kalder green) along with every option box ticked and then some little extras on top such as corse gray colour wheels with diamond cut lips and GTO embroided seats to name a couple.

My seats..

It came with a huge HKS super dragger exhaust (one I fitted up for the last owner back in 2001) but I ditched that in favour of a stock system. Ive decatted it and also removed the centre silencer. It has a weird hashness to the note now....kind of the sort of harshness you get with a exotic car, but toned down a little....its hard to explain lol.

That front numberplate looks great actually, is it a pressed metal plate or just a flat plastic printed plate? I know you said it was a custom graphics job, but it looks like a pressed metal plate, if it is a printed graphic its very, very good. Do you use it as a show plate only or does it stay on full time, and if so, do you ever get any bother from the plod about it?
Cheers guys
The plate is printed, it's actually very dark green letters on a white back ground, just to try and keep it looking more authentic. I tried all over the world for a pressed plate, but gave up seeing as nearly all of them come from Japan you just cant get enough characters on. I also know not many places have the Jap font on file either, and some of it had to be custom made from scratch, things like the 9 digit.
Ive had it fitted in place now for around seven weeks, without trouble. No doubt I'll get stopped eventually for it....I should know better though with being an MOT tester lol.
