Cayenne 955 V6 3.2 Cooling/Radiator Fan on all the time

Hi

My Cayenne V6 cooling fan kicks in as soon as i start the car and stays on for half a minute or so after i switch off the engine. Even from cold. It sounds like a 747 taking off and must be a drain on the electric system.

Can anyone please help?

This happened to my Spyder. Got a new fan under warranty. Apparently the control mechanism forms part of the unit. Funnily enough, the same happened to my Mum's 2002 Golf last week and it was fixed the same way albeit she had to pay.

Ive had a couple of garages reset the ECU with a Bosch system checker but the fault comes back after about a day or two.
Looks like a visit to an Indy.

In the mean time, Don't Suppose anyone knows if there is a relay or a fuse i can take out to shut the fan up until i can get it looked at ?

This is happening with mine, anyone got any updates

if you look in your owners manual you will find its one of the big maxi fuses in the engine bay fuse box.
