Here are my current two cars.....

Unsure what to do with the Renault, as i bought it for my wife to use, but have taken a shine to it, and think it might be worth making a little more 'Track day' orientated (which would mean having to buy the wife another car.

The SAAB is my daily, and whilst its a fast and very well equiped machine. Having just sold my E30 BMW Motorsport Edition convertible, leaves me needing a toy (which i guess brings me back to making the Clio a little more hardcore)

Thanks chaps.... I was nearly put off SAAB a few years ago when i bought a 9-3 Aero HOT convertible (it was soooooo disappointing compared to the fond memories i had of two previous 9000 Carlsson’s) but the 9-5 feels like a great car for the purpose it was conceived.

Will be having the wheels refurbed on the Clio soon, and painted a mid metallic grey, I’ll have the wheels re-balanced then. The car currently has a stainless cat back exhaust, but is going to get a 182 manifold, a K-tech induction kit and inlet pipe, a de-cat and a re-map The brakes have already had a disc and pad upgrade, and I will get the geometry and tracking all set up.

The RS Clio's are brilliant, I initially bought the car for my wife as she was getting a bit tired of driving around in an old BMW estate. But after I took it out one evening and took a drive along one of my favourite roads I was completely smitten!

Consider getting a Whiteline ARB, made a big difference to mine. Also, braided brake hoses (and DOT5.1 fluid while you're there) made a difference to brake feel. Finally, Eibach springs would also be on my list, the suspension on it is fine but supposedly improved with the Eibachs, not that I've put them on mine and nor am I likely to with the new arrival.
