Tracking and Camber for Track Use
Discussion
Hi all,
I had my car set-up for better track handelling a few years ago and all I remember was discussing with my indy and his suggestion to run the tracking parallel and camber at mimus 2. The handelling was really good on track and fine on road with the obvious downside being the inside edges of the tyres wearing from driving on the road with -2 camber.
So I went to a local guy recently to do the same set-up and found to start with that he could only get -1.75 out of the adjustment, and we weren't sure if we should match the rears exactly or leave them as standard.
Any advice from regular track day drivers?

You can remove the thick shim on the front ball joint and replace with two thin ones ..Mine is setup for track use but crap on the road ..Is there a happy medium?I had my car set-up for better track handelling a few years ago and all I remember was discussing with my indy and his suggestion to run the tracking parallel and camber at mimus 2.
