Glove box lock mechanism and new plastic covers for headlamp

Dear all,

I have not posted on the TVR threads for some time since I sold my own 400SE, Griff 500 and Tuscan Red Rose.
But a Danish friend of mine own a Griff 500 and needs a new locking mechanism for the glove box. I gather its a little plastic male & female kind of switch?
The car recently had a complete respray and they broke the locking mechanism trying to open it Does anyone know where I can get hold of this part?

Also, the clear plastic covers over the headlights are looking very worn, scratched and dull/mis coloured in some places. Again, can anyone suggest where to get a new pair of these covers?

It might be worth machine polishing the headlight covers first. I did mine with some Mezerna compound and a foam pad. The improvement was incredible.

Worth a try, I did it on my 360 and worked a treat. I think his lenses have gone matt/milky white in places though so may not be an option.
