Some big grids expected in 2012! New cars
Discussion
Spoke to GP today and he's very upbeat about the 2012 season.
Some more stuff in the Paddock.
Grids of 30+ cars expected. Not just the MGV8s but the TVR GTs are about again.
From the other posts, its great to see some other cars being re-commissioned and coming back out.
My car was fresh to DTEC last year
DCs loverly nu B Tuscan (Fresh to DTEC)
Bills similarly loverly A Tuscan (Fresh to DTEC)
Perry's also loverly Chevy A Tuscan (Fresh to anywhere) to name a few.
Any others>>>

Is anybody not running a Tuscan? Are there any competitive Griffs, Chimaeras, Tamoras, T350s, SP6 Sagaris, Taimar/3000M, Vixens, 2.8 Tasmins, V8 Tasmins/wedges, Tuscan SP6 etc etc .. just asking like
Just who exactly has committed to running this year (ie actually paid up) NOT in a Tuscan?

2 cerbs? I know JW is in but Mike says he's only trying to do a few, and will launch properly in another Tuscan race car. Jasons Tuscan will be nice to see but who's are the 3 speed6 Sags? I don't know of any.
... a few or all, its still out.The Sags as you know are TCCs with the GT bodies.
Jason is being brave with the S6 as he has a business interest. Likewise CJ was also brave running the wilder, but on a budget the S6 just doesn't make sense...yet and since no more are being made I not sure it ever will.
I don't see how its a suprise (from someone else thats done it) that the most cost effective way to race a TVR is to buy a purpose built race TVR.

av 18 + 6MGs + newbies??? Mid 20s I guess.
Doesn't matter how many really, so long as everyone has atleast 3 closely matched in each class?
And thats only 16. Maybe 32 would be nice.
I'm not bothered how many are on the grid.....JUST AS LONG AS YOU LOT STAY AWAY FROM MY NICE SHINY NEW CAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!bhi 12
