Anyone got an AFR graph from a RR sesh demonstrating 'optimum' or ideal AFR curve?

Cheers fellas,

Chilli

I would of thought it would vary from engine to engine, not a lot of point copying

When I put mine on the rollers, they thought the fuelling was pretty good.

Spot on! Exactly what I was hoping to see, somewhere between 12.5-12.8, and fairly consistent from around 4000rpm upwards.... From what I've read that's around optimum for maximum power... I do believe I've got a few more horses waiting to be released biggrin

Thanks for posting TV8 smile

A pleasure. Reading my comment about noise, I must find out how loud it sounds outside the car with the full ACT system.

The fuelling was a Mark Adams best guess chip

Cant complain but I wish it was nearer 13:1

My 'before' dyno

on that dyno the difference was MA chip reguessed, complete decat, act induction, 45mm inlet and trumpets

With stock RR camsahft

Since that dyno,I found it had 12/16 valves leaking

So now its fitted with a 300 Dur mech cam, 16 new valves with double springs

Im looking for a 50hp increase 'ish'

My old Lucas system and it's MA Tornado chip seems to give a nice consistent 12.5 - 12.8:1

Good luck with that.
Barrie got + 70bhp and 90lb/ft from 3000 to the redline with his latest little mod.

Nice one! Interesting that that's two Lucas systems running really good AFR's and two after market ECU's both running rather rich scratchchin

I suspect MS tuners side on caution scratchchin

I am very happy the way mine runs and performs and mpg is very good for my driving habits.
I see about 14 on the wideband cruising at 80-90, mid 12's on acceleration, low 13's at idle IIRC

I have complete faith in Dale (Bailey performance).... top bloke.
