I wonder if the exhausts are made to a length or just a minimum length and then cut after fitting. I seem to remember all those years ago when I bought mine I got the dealer to lop a bit off the back of one of them because it was a couple inches longer.

Not a chocolate factory but at Easter with 4 children, even at their more matureish age, I sometimes wonder .
