Might be to deflect Bahrain, although hasn't he said this about every new race that has entered the calender in recent years. I'm sure the same, or something similar, was said about India.
For all the good Bernie has done over the years with F1 when will he roll over and stop stirring s
t up. I pretty sure Bernie only says something if it will benefit him directly...

Thought things were progressing again there? i've had a look at the official website and all is rosy (of course) but have heard a few rumbles about payments and delays.Annoying as I have a chance of going this year....
