where do i stand (insurance)

Hello PHers,
Yesterday i phoned the insurance for a quote on a said 2007 car. Gave me a price to change the car over, no priblem.
Went to see the car and wasnt described properly so walked away. Found same car but 06 plate, quick quote no problem.
Done a deal with the fella, put a deposit done and went to sort out the insurance.
Cannot cover me now as im too young to drive the car. So where do i stand?
The woman is currently speaking to the quotations staff as i can get a quote online but not over the phone so hopefully i can be covered but if not can i sue or anything?

It's not THAT easy to sue, they have no liability over this issue.
Wait until they get back to you, they'll probably be able to cover...

Okay will do, bit in a worst case scenario where would i stand?

i dont have the money to do this at the moment, id have to borrow of family to cover the extra.
