Another 'what car' thread.

Hi to you all.

My company lease car comes up for renewal soon and I have a bugdet of about £300 per month (+VAT) for a 3 year/10000 mile pa lease.

I would like a large car with plenty of rear legroom when my 6'4" frame is in the driver's seat and preferably an auto as the kids are getting bigger!! I would also like something I would be proud to park on the drive

So far I am considering the following which come within budget:

VW Tiguan SE 140 (2WD) - very good allround choice and my top choice at the moment - and the kids love it!!

Passatt SE Estate.

Merc C Class Estate C220 SE Auto - OK but not much room in the back, and I can't get on with the manual!

Skoda Octavia VRS Manual.

Volvo V50 has been ruled out as apparently they will be obsolete soon!!

Mazda 6 (170bhp) was suggested to be but I fell asleep soon after walking into the showroom

What other cars are avaiable that fit my bill? I'm sure there must be plenty but I must be missing a few.

Superb estate comes in at under £250 pcm, passat but better , not exactly the best car ever but a mazda 6 isnt gonna wow the pants of the jones.
