Morning all,
I have a slight missfire for the first mile or so in the mornings when engine is cold. Its not evident on the return journey. Plugs are new, leads are new. Would a nice new shiney coil help or am i just jealous of Karl Cordwells'/Jeff Morgans' engine bay?

Morning Richard. My shiny bits don't make it run or cure misfire before you go and spend money. They make it run better but it ran with the old leads and coil with no problems.

A few poblems I had with mis fire. Loose king lead to the coil, opend the connector slightly and it was fine. Spark plug lead end doing the same and it had a slack nipple.

I think Richard is looking for any excuse to become a GJOB

Cheers Jeff, off to take me plugs out and check leads - Its usually the case that most problems are as a direct result of the last job done.

Whats a GJOB? Anything to do with the "bling" air vents i'm about to fit
