Karting - Sunday 6th May
Discussion
Morning all,
I thought I'd pop this up in the Thames Valley secion incase anyone fancies a spot of Karting next month?
It's being organised by V8mate from the Bargain Barge thread so he has decided to host it as central to the middle of the country as possible so as anyone can try and make it.
Details below: (or check this thread out)

Right. Get your names down for the inaugural The Thread F1 Karting Challenge.
The event will be held on Sunday 6th May at Whilton Mill where we'll be doing the Dual Sprint. This involves a 20 minute practice session which decides grid positions followed by two 20 minute races. (Maybe a BTCC-style reverse grid for the second race?)
The events starts at 11am (arrive 10.45), so whether you're staying overnight locally or heading there that morning, you shouldn't have to get up too early.
The charge is £65. You need to pay me in advance - either by electronic transfer or (at the latest) in cash at the next Thread drinks in London on 19th April.
We have exclusive use of the circuit during the event and there are 30 places available, so do extend the invitation to friends or other PHers who may not venture inside this thread.
Get your names down!
Update:
We'll probably be away from the circuit by 1pm. Shall we have a spot of Sunday lunch before heading our separate ways? (won't be much socialising going on when everyone's got their visor down!)
I'll have a dig around the web for local hostelries, but if you can recommend anywhere close by...
