I'm having the wheels powdercoated before Chatsworth next weekend (they're pretty tidy anyway, but bugger it), and I'm 99% certain I'm going to stick with the usual TVR silver. There is a little modicum in the back of my mind, however, wondering what the car would look like with anthracite or even gloss black wheels. Although I am pretty certain that the colour of the car is too dark to compliment a darker finish. If someone could knock together what my car would look like on these colours, I'd be very grateful. smile

That was my thoughts Scotty, I'd just like to see it on darker wheels to confirm that I'm doing the right thing. Not too sure that body coloured with silver rim is my thing Craig, but good thinking. smile

If the wheels are okay, have an HID upgrade instead

My first cerb was blue and had anthracite rl 18s. The dark blue and dark Wheela doesn't work. Black car and dark wheels I like. Blue doesn't work. IMHO

I'll go against the grain and say I think anthracite works with dark blue. I did it with my old Fiat Coupe and it worked well, although the fact it seemed the 16s filled the arches better darker may have been the reason.

Anyway, after a couple of trips around the lanes they tend to go the same colour as madbadger's photoshop number anyway - so you get the best of both worlds if you leave em silver. laugh
