Had the car 2 months, did a Ride Drive course yesterday (great - highly recommended) and today I got rear ended 400 yds from my house. Me stationanry, he didn't stop. If anyone can tell me how to post a pic I will show you the damage which is a cracked bunper and rear panel.

In the meantime, as I cannot phone my insurer Ann Manning until Monday, anyone know where I can get it fixed to the best standard? I live in Bromley, work in Croydon.

Try Gifford coachworks. They're at Horam, Sussex. They do bodywork for Dream Machines at Heathfield (main TVR dealer).

The stuff I've seen them do is excellent.

You'll get a better deal going directly to them.

Well, first class service so far from Ann Manning insurance, and P R Wood in Essex who they recommended and came down to pick my car up in Croydon. Other driver's insurance is picking up the bill, but ... Soddit, its going to take at least 4 weeks, by which time the summer will be over. In the meantime they gave me a Toyota Corolla .... Not quite the same is it?

Hi, Sorry to hear about that.
You don't work near East croydon do you? I've only seen two Chimarea's in Croydon. One on way to work on Tram (me, not car )and once seen one driving towards me whilst walking down from station, made my walk into work even more enjoyable!

Hope you get it fixed quick, so i can hear it again

Not sure if that will work. Trevor, I work in South Croydon and drive in via Bromley so I cross the tram tracks at least twice around New Addington & Gravel Hill. Car is blue pearl

Oh well not you then, I work in East Croydon. Anyway hope you get your car fixed to your satisfaction.
If you ever see a Green Focus Zetec flash you or even a White AX, it might be me.
I have flashed (with lights) a Tuscan in the Bromley area before (hayes), but only got funny looks!
