Kumho Ecsta XL. How do you guys rate them?
Discussion
Just had an MOT on the S6 and both the fronts and backs are close to their legal limits. Previously the last owner had put a pair of Conti SC3 on the front and they have only lasted 7000 miles since they were put on in June 2011. Given that these cost over £250 a pop, I'd like my next set of tyres to last slightly longer.
This has led me to look at Kumho tyres. I have had them fitted to my previous TT without any problems and was wondering how they would fare on something heavier and more powerful. These will be the XL with the stiffer sidewalls. Do any of you guys run these on heavier vehicles?

I'm running them on my Accord Tourer and am happy with them. I find they are more about low noise and comfort than all out grip though, but that's why I chose them. Surprisingly good on twisty lanes but do spin a touch from a standing start if pushed.
I've certainly never felt unnerved by them, in any conditions.
