Scraggy (cat) had a pigeon for breakfast...
Discussion
A whole one we assume. When we got up there was just 2 wings and a foot left.
He has spent the day so far in one spot on the sofa (unless I go and fuss him where he seems perfectly alert and happy). Normally he'd have moved around a little and come and shouted at me for a bit.
Do we need to worry at all? It's the 1st bit of wildlife he's eaten since he arrived and I assume there is a lot of bone in a pigeon. Though it was raw so it'll be ok?

A whole pigeon = Cat v. Food. He's probably just full up and sleeping it off.
I was a bit concerned about Bob eating his kills at first (the crunching noise was a bit off-putting for one thing), but I think they know not to swallow anything they can't chew.
Bob's doing fine and if anything seems to prefer hunting to being fed. It must be all those tasty free-range organic mice in the fields around here.

Yuck. Bob's just brought in another one.
It was squeaking piteously (and he was torturing it), so I boffed it on the head with an empty tequila bottle.
He's had a few teeth out since his former owner let these get into a bad state, yet he can crunch through a mouse no problem. Feet... tail... it's all eaten
