With a 3 year old and a nearly 1 year old

Likely to sometimes eat / drink in the car (not often, but sometimes)

What are the prospects of keeping a cream leather interior anything like clean?

Do they still pick up colouration from jeans etc.?

Yes, a gliptone treatment every now and then should keep you sweet. Blue jeans will transfer but it comes off easy enough....

I've had a light interior on two cars.

Whilst it looks undoubtedly gorgeous (particularly against dark coachwork) it's a nause to live with and can look shabby in no time.

Add kids, and you'll be cleaning the car more than driving it.

Why not put a blanket of some sort across the seat. Something easy clean and big enough to wrap around the seat so it doesn't keep moving around.

Hell, I moved a set of wheels with tyres mounted today, not remotely clean, with two in the cream-leather-upholstered back and it was fine hehe

When well looked-after and especially if regularly treated, it should defy the age of the car smile

No jeans.....ever. Watch out for dirty finger marks, be careful of dye transfer from belts and buy LTT Solutions leather care products. Protect, clean and protect!!! I have a champagne nappa leather and you can keep it looking beautiful if you are careful and put in the time to look after it.

No, there are other colours. I have Parchment piped Spruce with a Parchment knee roll & Spruce top roll (with rather a lot of Walnut & Maple, Chrome & Wilton).

Any leather can look great with the proper care, any leather can look terrible if it's not looked after. Cream leather sofas for example, can take a hell of a beating, but still look brand new if they are treated with the proper products, a car should be easy to keep clean in comparison.
