Failed lights??
Discussion
Deffo got a gremlin of some sort in the nobey just now.
Currently not getting sidelights on front or rear of passenger side, any indicators, any brake lights or dipped or dipped beam on passenger side.
Hazards all work, side lights front and rear drivers side, dipped beam and full beam on drivers side all work. Number plate light and fog is ok too.
I've checked all fuses and they look Ok, gave all relays a wiggle and bash too but can't see anything wrong. Power is getting to both front as the full beam on passenger side works as does the indicator on hazards only.
Both rear light units get power from the same plug and one works so why not the other???
Any ideas folks?
Cheers
Graham

I had sidelights fail, front and rear, on offside recently.
Replaced fuse and all ok, went for a blat and they went again.
The cable to the rear lights is on the offside so checked that for shorts and sure enough, a couple of wires melted through and shorting on o/s tail pipe.
When the clam was put back on after mapping I guess the plug was rotated 360 degs which pushed the cable over to the tailpipe.

Cheers Graham,
Looked at the plug on the near side (passenger side) to the rear clam and a few of the wires had pulled out of the plug, this must have happened at the ring when we removed my clam to fix an oil drip and gasket leak, It's raining now so will make it a weekend job.
