Do you have something up your sleeve if you do have a problem with noise tests? IIRC, the reason TVR moved to the half door and the big silencer box was difficulties in complying with noise regs.

You should definately ditch the 10 year old brake pads - I use Mintex pads (F2R compound), they've always been excellent.

I'm going to make a new silencer for it. I've just ordered F2R pads for the front and F6R pads for the rear. I used F4R pads on the front of the Tasmin and they were very good.
