I met Bert Weedon a few times over the years primarily through Gordon Giltrap and Joe Brown who I met through work years ago.

There was a huge respect for Bert Weedon in the guitar world.

He was a hardworking steady reliable troubadour and the the music industry had the highest respect for Bert Weedon because of this absolute sincerity and completely straightforward approach.

There simply was no side to Beret Weedon, he never had a tantrum in his life.

I learned to play on Play in a Day and Play every Day as did most 1960's gutarusts!

Bert Weedon was a very talented guitarist and a lifelong enthusiast for and ambassador of the guitar.

A wonderful man he will be fondle remembered and sadly missed.
