Growing Older and Wiser (a sort of what car)
Discussion
Hey guys,
I am currently selling my Tuscan with the plan to put the money from it into a bigger better house so we can start a family. My wife being the kind and thoughtful women she is has said I can get a fun car once we are settled into the new house (so a couple of years at the most). If all goes to plan I will have a budget of around £20k The car in question will be used for track days and possibly the odd sprint event as well as good old fashioned B-road fun
I don't fancy another TVR and want something that is reliable and wont cost a huge amount if something were to go tits up but still pushing out 300bhp/ton or there abouts. So anything with a fairly normal engine would be great. Service costs don't bother me too much as I can do a lot of that sort of thing myself.
So far my short list is
VX220 Turbo (save a massive chunk of money to perhaps buy a better family car ST220 or something)
Noble M12 (Only downside with is probably the running costs I can't imagine them being easy to fix)
Lotus Exige S2 260 (seem to be lower mileage and newer than the Nobles in this price range)
So what are your thoughts?

Wait a couple of years until nearer the time of buying and start a thread then?
