Specialist Porsche Insurers?
Discussion
Can anyone recommend a Porsche specialist insurer? I tried to get a quote with my existing insurer (LV) but whilst the price was 'ok', they would want a tracker on the car to insure against theft and to be honest, I don't want to have a tracker, as I work on the basis that if it gets stolen, I'd rather not have it back!!!
First point insurance (Gary Hooker http://www.firstpointinsurance.co.uk/gary ) insured my GTS through an insurer (Aviva i think) that only required tracker above £75k value
Competition Car Insurance (Lyndsey Farmer http://www.competition-car-insurance.co.uk/index.h... ) insured Spyder via Aviva - 5 track days, tracker only needed above £40k value. Only max 8k miles a year allowed though!
Porsche Insurance ( http://www.porschehost.com/porscheinsurance.asp?op... ) can sometimes throw decent quotes

I just did an Admiral multi-car on a GT3 & Q5 for 850, which is 250 cheaper for the GT3 and 150 cheaper for the Q5, than last years/renewal costs.
Only concern was around the repair centres used, but checked with my fave' Audi/Porsche approved and he reckons he does plenty of work for Admiral, plus he insured his own cars with them, so I went ahead.
Oh, there is a specific "Nordschliefe" exclusion though.
