Good to hear Chris lol.

Seeing as you use it everyday, if you drive them carefully enough can you really get 40-45mpg out of it.

Evo, you can only really see 45+ mpg if you sit at 50 mph on the motorway due to the short ratio box, normally at about 70mph in 5th you are looking at around 3,500/4,000 rpm. Give or take I ave 30 mpg and £55 to fill up on Shell V-Power averaging 270-310 miles per tank.

and no, it was a male driver before me. Basically the history of the car is Renault Ex Demo car for about 500 miles then 1 mature owner for 73,000 miles then me. I've kept the history folder going and I've added a few too many receipts to the folder due to me playing around with it (ie decat,exhaust....)

Sounds good to me, my journey is 90 miles a day and it's all cross country, I'm quite happy sitting at 40-50mph tbh as it seems to take an hour give or take by the time you factor in the amount of tractors I come across. Even doing 60-70 it still only seems to get me there 10 minutes quicker (am I sounding old yet smile) All joking aside i don't mine bumbling along during the day if I get decent mpg, I'll give it a blast at the weekend.

Our main car is a 2012 E Class CDI so it's just to go to and from work, the plan will be to retire it next year and keep it for a track day car where I can have some proper fun. A good friend of mine was the 2008 Clio champ so I'll be taking some driving lessons from him once i get it on track lol.
