Hi folks,
Just removed the exhaust from my S1 to get the baffles rewelded. (What a nightmare to get off!!!)
While I have the exhaust off, I thoguht I should replace the propshaft UJ,s as I do get some clunking and some vibration. Also thought the gearbox rear mounting may be a little suspect so will be changed.
I understand that there were only ever to sizes of UJ made. Can anyone identify a part numner of size for the one required. Also any info on the gearbox mount would be useful (which I guess is a Ford part).
Are there any other jobs I should do while the exhaust is off. I sm trying to get it all done before the S Club meeting.
