A bit of background on me: 21yo, live with parents, dad unwilling to cover me on his house insurance.

My new job requires me to carry lots of tools maybe 2k - 2.5k worth.

I have an extensive tool collection already. Since leaving my last job it is no longer insured as it was under there insurance while at work. I also have 6 - 7 expensive toys Ipad, Nitro Rc car, push bike ect. That I would like to insure.

Obviously the insurance would need to cover me for if the items get stolen away from home as I will be all over the uk.

Hoping to not pay a fortune wouldn't claim if it was just a £150 drill that got stolen while on site, but if the van gets cleared out one night I don't want to have to find 3K.

I don't know where to start looking for this type of insurance, or what its called, coop website told me to get lost as I couldn't say I was renting or owned a house.

Any advice or experience on where's best to look would be great!
