These look totally mad, especially the thought of a 1000ft version. Maybe if they made it a bit more cigar shaped, and painted it silver ....

These are so cool, I don't care what powres them, I'd love to see some huge airships flying. Like the old Zeppelin.
I saw a thing about the US military using them for transport and they were so big they could carry 6 Abrams tanks or something!!
I would love to be able to fly to the US for a holiday, but over 2 or 3 days, flying low over the Arctic circle or something to spot Polar Bears or Whales. Like Cruising to the US, but quicker and cheaper.

These, currently, have money.Cargolifter ran out for whatever reason.
But as they defined the design and development costs to be equivalent of a commercial airliner. The 300 million euros invested would never cut the mustard.
