Eurovision: Azerbaijani food

So the time is a fast approaching for Eurovision and we've been invited to a party.
In the time honoured tradition of the F1 food threads, the host and I thought we might have a go at bashing out some Azerbaijani food to soak up the copious amounts of ill-advised cocktails that will undoubtedly be concocted during the evening. I've had a google, and the idea of making a massive pot of Plov (a rice based pilaf or biriyani) sounds good. The question is what else to make...?
Anyone have any experience of Eurasian cuisine...?
