Well thought I was, making good progress with the rebuild till I went to put the rear wheel on after putting everything back together.

Bearings are the wrong fking PCD....

The Grand Cherokee from 99 onwards uses 5 x 120...

TVR used the pre 99 bearing at 5 x 114...

Wish I had checked them sooner and tbh, gutted.

I can sort them but haven't got time to fit them. Rear uprights have got to come off again to get the old ones out and the new ones in.

TVR shops want £114 ish + delivery each where-as they are £73 online. The only downside is the online delivery time is 6-8 working days.

It's at least a day to get it apart and back together and I'm out all this week with work. Might be able to blag the Thursday as well as the Friday off but that still means getting the car Geo's on Saturday IF it is all back together and I STILL haven't got my new rad fans yet to put the front end back in.

Looking unlikely.

I've had to admit defeat also this year. I'm sorry not to be going but the recent service has thrown up a few major issues. I'm booked to go to Le Mans so need to get the car sorted and something has to give. Unforteunatly it's Chatsworth that has to go out the window.

Similar issue, I'm off to Monaco on the 9th May so better to concentrate on that than rush Chatsworth and have issues in the South of France....

Well I'm in a bit of a better mood about all this today.

Managed to find 2 bearings that are correct and just up the road, in stock and cheaper!

Now just to get the Thursday off as well.....

Also, my new Pacet fans "should" be with me today, even though I was promised them a week ago!

If the bits turn up I'm sure you can do it, just dont rush it, you can sometimes tell wether these things are going to work out or not...

Could meet you on the way up on the Sat if you make it, dont think we're leaving early so would give you a bit of time in the morning.

Got the tracking number now and they should be with me between 14:00 and 15:00...
