I have never had a car with black plastic trim before, but Im after something to do the bits on the other halfs MINI

Anyone recommend anything?

G|techniq C4 is probably the best. Expensive though, so not really worth it unless you are detailing the entire car.

CarPro PERL is cheap as it can be diluted, and you can use it on all interior and exterior plastics, engine plastics, and tires.

Use a pencil eraser to remover any polish/wax overspill and if you want to rejeuvinate greying plastic use a hot air paint stripper gun (carefully)

For keeping nice black trims black I still like Autoglym bumper gel (the stuff that looks like snot) smile

I use black shoe polish . Works a treat on tyres too

It has been well looked after by its previous owner, and the plastic is still black, so just something to give it a bit of gloss really! Its no problem having to reapply every time I wash it, bit some stuff seems to go a bit streaky after a few days, especially if its wet out

As mentioned above. Autoglym Bumper Care is great stuff for exterior plastics.
I know Autoglym stuff isn't very fashionable on here, but it's cheap & easy to apply (Put on a cloth first).
Worryingly, I love the smell of it too.

i've tried loads - some very expensive and every time have gone back to Autoglym Bumper Care
