We have same problem with crows! Complete nightmare even put up two scarecrows and the b@stards have sussed those out now. Can't leave a car in the drive for more than 15 minutes without it being attacked! Worst first thing in the morning.

Buy or borrow a .22 air rifle. Crows are so intelligent that once you have put a few shots around them they will definetly clear off. You don't necessarily have to kill or wound them! Mine gets loaned to all and sundry.

Same problem here with blue tits and finches. I have cobbled together a pair of felt covers to put off the little buggers. It will be the air pistol next!

Being a caring nature loving type could I also recommend a catapult using frozen broad beans as ammo. The catapult needs to one with an arm brace, the good thing about broad beans is that they bio-degrade quickly so if you are forced to attack the enemy in the next door neighbours garden there will be little or no evidence left to implicate you. Wine corks are also good and of course are reusable. Trouble is stocking up with corks means getting pissed by which time you will have lost interest in the enemy.

George.
I'm sorry. That's not an air rifle.
THIS is an air rifle!

It's a work of art to behold and the rabbits just love it!
Carbon fibre, titanium and a rather nice chunk of walnut.
Mines still running unlicenced power (12 ft/lbs) but with a firearms certificate it can be taken up to a different (80 ft/lbs) power level.

That's a stunning looking thing, I love the walnut. Difference is yours cost almost 8x what I paid for mine! Plus I've used it about 5 times, it was one of my stupid impulse buys hehe

Ah mines seen more action than yours then... at least 8 more times, so it represents excellent value for money. That said I am older.

Well in terms of £ per shot I suspect we're about even!
