Yellow cerb in classifieds
Discussion
i WANT HIS FIRST TVR TO BE A GOOD ONE!!
Hi, Have been asked to look at the Yellow cerb in the Classifieds up for £13995! Sorry don't know how to do linky but was hoping someone could give me a bit of a history on this car? As some of you know i'm up on Griffs and 350 but my cerb knowledge is lacking!
Apparently last to owners on here.
The car would be a weekend toy and occasional track toy.
Thanks in advance!

To help you out, here's the link

Looks tidy, but the lights (both ends) aren't my cup of tea. Didn't realise Sunset Pearl (same colour as mine) was a 'rare' colour

I viewed this car when I was looking back in January/early Feb.
There was evidence of a fair bit of outrigger rust, the seals on the windscreen & rear screen are leaking as evidenced by major white condensation marks right across both.
Interior was ok from a cursory check, but I was put off immediately by the outriggers and windscreens and made my excuses & left.
These are "relatively" inexpensive items to fix, so I had my concerns about how much the owner had spent on the car.....
Add that to the fact that it's been up for sale now for quite a while, either indicates the condition isn't all that good, and/or that the price is too high. If you like the colour, then I'd budget £4k+ to spend on it, and throw in an offer at about £11k and don't negotiate.
